Full Journal pdf2001-05-08 House Journal Page 1748 HB 65 The Conference Committee considering: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 65(HES) "An Act relating to a new optional group of persons eligible for medical assistance who require treatment for breast or cervical cancer; and providing for an effective date." and SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 65(HES) am S (same title) requests limited powers of free conference and contingent upon being granted limited powers, the Committee agrees on the following amendment: Page 1, line 9, following "assistance": Insert "whenever they are eligible for coverage under 42 USC 1396a(a)(10)(A)(ii)(XVIII) if they apply for the assistance before the date that is two years after the effective date of this Act" Page 2, line 30: Delete all material. The request was signed by Representatives Dyson (Chair), Murkowski, Hayes; and Senators Green, Taylor. The Speaker granted the limited powers of free conference as requested, and the Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate.
